BW students break records at 15th Annual Dance Marathon to fight pediatric AIDS
Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropy organization on campus. Lasting 12 hours, the marathon consists of performers, dance and education about HIV/AIDS. All proceeds were donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which seeks to educate and reduce the the transmission and cases of pediatric AIDS worldwide.

Held on campus, undergraduate and graduate students were given the opportunity to share their research, creativity and professional learning experiences with the University and community.

BW students spend Spring Break volunteering in Boston
Seven diverse cities, 51 caring Baldwin Wallace University students and one short spring break week added up to a world of difference. BW's Alternative Break service program provides students the opportunity to spend their breaks helping others. The 2016 student volunteers traveled to Atlanta; Boston; Kansas City, Mo.; New Orleans; Toledo, Ohio; Detroit and Chicago. The trips were led by a BW student with a University faculty or staff adviser providing support.

Graduate students in the Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP) from Miami University's Project Dragonfly and eight Master Institutions have been awarded a Community Engagement badge from the university for making a difference in human and ecological communities. As part of the AIP, students apply the tools of conservation science and advance the tenets central to the master's degree: inquiry, community and voice.
